Ms. Alyson Carr

Ms. Carr has been teaching here at Guardian Angels since 2015. She attended Berkley Schools and graduated from Central Michigan University. Most recently she taught Elementary Art in Okinawa Japan through Department of Defense Schools. She learned so much about Japanese culture, met many interesting people and enjoyed working with students of all ages and backgrounds. During her time there she was given the unique experience of teaching both off base and at a local Okinawan School.

Ms. Carr loves experimenting with all sorts of art and mediums. One of her favorites is painting and "murals." In the past few years, Ms. Carr has had fun being part of the Arts, Beats, and Eats parking meter painting project in downtown Royal Oak. She also enjoys experimenting with art and music with her two daughters and has recently taken up piano as well as guitar! Ms. Carr is excited to continue to be a part of the Guardian Angels Team.
