The Catholic Culture at Guardian Angels School

The students at Guardian Angels Catholic School are formed intellectually, humanly, and spiritually. While every school engages the mind and body through its core curriculum, a Catholic school also takes great care to nurture the spiritual life of each student. Here at Guardian Angels, the students receive daily classes in religion and are called to live out their faith through their actions.  More than just offering religion classes, however, the Guardian Angels administration, staff, and faculty take great care to foster a true Christian environment where students can deepen their discipleship through service and prayer.

Sacraments and Prayer

Guardian Angels Catholic School provides many opportunities for students and families to encounter the Lord and foster their relationship with Him.  Some examples include:

  • Opportunities for Reconciliation
  • Archdiocese of Detroit Virtue Project which connects with our Angel of the Month awards

Service Projects

Here at Guardian Angels Catholic School, students are taught to love one another – in our building and in the world that exists beyond our school walls.  Therefore, the students engage in a myriad of service projects that include:

  • Be the Difference Day:
A joint program with Bishop Foley Catholic High School where students volunteer in a variety of ways in our local community.
  • Food and Clothing Drives for St. Vincent de Paul
  • Toys for Tots collection
  • Making cards and baking brownies for our service personnel, veterans, and local nursing home residents
  • Supporting different local charities as selected annually by our Student Council and National Junior Honor Society

"The Mission of Guardian Angels Catholic School is to proclaim Jesus Christ through sacraments and prayer by teaching Christ-centered values while encouraging academic excellence and social justice within our Catholic community."
