Mrs. Miriam Gomez
Mrs. Gomez has been part of the Guardian Angels Community since 2019 when she and her family moved to Clawson, MI from Queretaro, Mexico following a job offer for her husband, Gustavo. Her oldest daughter, Alicia, started Preschool 4 at GA in the fall of 2019, her youngest, Helena, started Preschool 3 at GA in 2020 and ever since her family has called GA their second home. Mrs. Gomez was very active in the GAP association and volunteered as co-chair and chair of several events, including the Children in Bloom Auction, and served 2 years with the GAP board as treasurer before starting teaching at Guardian Angels in 2026. Mrs. Gomez really enjoys sharing her culture and traditions with her community, and she's very excited to teach Spanish as World Language education!
Mrs. Gomez holds a bachelors in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Education. Her previous experience as teacher in Mexico and her credentials, allowed her to be certified as a teacher by the MDE with endorsements in Spanish, French, Science and Math. She also volunteers as one of the troop leaders for our Guardian Angels Girl Scout Troop 77930 and serves in the Parish with Baptism Preparation classes.
In her spare time, Mrs. Gomez likes to spend time with her family and her dog, be outdoors, read, bake, craft, play board games and learn stuff!
