Mrs. Kristen Brown

Mrs. Kristen Brown is the Academy science & ELA teacher. She has been at GA since the fall of 2020, and has been teaching since 2001. She holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University with a major in science, as well as a master's degree from Saginaw Valley State University.  Her previous experiences include leading third-fifth grade classrooms, and a few years as a K-5 reading interventionist and data coach.

Mrs. Brown is not only a part of the GA family as a teacher, but also as a parent. She and her husband have two amazing, young children. Outside of school, she spends a lot of time outdoors. She loves camping, the beach, nature walks, sports, biking, cooking, reading, and lots of family time. She feels very blessed to be a part of your child's educational journey at GA!
