Mrs. Julie Kane

Mrs. Julie Kane holds her Masters degree in social work (with a focus in mental health and school social work) from the University of Michigan.  She has worked in both a public school and a charter school setting serving children with special education services and at-risk students.  In 2017, she subbed here at Guardian Angels in our Junior Kindergarten program and then joined our Latchkey team in 2018.  Mrs. Kane taught 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds at a private Preschool program in Southfield, before teaching our 4-year-olds right here at Guardian Angels.  She is super excited to be our Preschool/Latchkey Director.  She belongs to the NAEYC, MiAEYC, and the MASSW.

Mrs. Kane is married to an amazing husband and has 2 wonderful daughters that both attend Guardian Angels as well!  She enjoys long walks around Target, baking, Rae Dunn hunting and vacationing up north at their cottage.
