Mrs. Doris Saad

Mrs. Doris Saad is beginning her second year at Guardian Angels School. She brings 35 years of experience as a professional artist and designer to her role teaching art. Mrs. Saad has been a newspaper and magazine designer, an illustrator, photographer and videographer. For more than 15 years, she owned a marketing and graphic design company serving automotive, technology, banking, sporting goods and sportswear companies.

What will the 2023-24 school year bring? “I’m looking forward to not only teaching the fundamentals of art, but helping students explore various media as well, through projects in two- and three-dimensional art. I want my students to each find their own skills and skill levels, and make the most of the talents that God has given them.”

Mrs. Saad is a Guardian Angels parishioner and lives in Royal Oak. She’s married and has three children and four grandchildren. Her hobbies and interests include gardening, painting, crafting and travel.
