Mrs. Andrea Cross
Mrs. Andrea Cross has been teaching at Guardian Angels since 2014. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Kansas City, KS and moved to Michigan from Indiana after her husband's work transfer. Having grown up with a grandfather who taught beginning band and a father who continues to conduct the local church choir, Mrs. Cross was surrounded by music. She quickly found music was not only an important aspect of education but also an expression of praise and glory to the Lord.
Mrs. Cross graduated from Kansas State University and substitute taught for three years overseas for the Department of Defense schools in Germany. She then taught for one year in Indiana at St. Patrick Catholic School. While living in Indiana, she was also the Coordinator of Liturgical Music at St. Joseph University Parish in Terre Haute. Mrs. Cross loves to sing and play the piano and trumpet. Outside of Guardian Angels she enjoys cooking, reading and traveling with her husband, son, and daughter. Mrs. Cross is excited to be in Michigan and to share the joy and discovery of music with students at Guardian Angels.
