Guardian Angels follows the Archdiocese of Detroit Code of Pastoral Conduct. Every priest, deacon, teacher, staff member, and volunteer is expected to model Christian integrity and protect the dignity of every child.

WHAT FAMILIES CAN EXPECT

  • Trained & screened adults: Background checks and Safe Environment training are required.
  • Supervision & boundaries: We plan activities with at least two approved adults whenever possible and keep interactions observable; no private sessions in closed quarters.
  • Respectful culture: We prohibit harassment, bullying, or inappropriate jokes/materials.
  • Professional conduct: No drugs, alcohol, or pornography—ever.

PRIVACY & WHEN WE MUST REPORT

We respect your family’s privacy. If a child may be in danger, we are required by Michigan law to report concerns to protect them. The sacramental seal of confession is always absolute.

IF YOU HAVE A CONCERN OR NEED TO REPORT

  • Emergency: Call 911
  • Child abuse/neglect (CPS): (855) 444-3911
