All employees and volunteers of the Archdiocese of Detroit (AOD) must be trained on the warning signs of various types of abuse. In an effort to prevent sexual abuse, bullying and other forms of mistreatment, all individuals working and volunteering in the Archdiocese of Detroit are required to complete the linked “Criminal Background Check Disclosure and Authorization Form” and complete specified training.

The AOD uses Virtus, an online platform for all training, monitoring, and data collection.  Use the link below to log into your existing Virtus account or to set up a new account. If you have taken Protecting God’s Children in the past, do not create a new account.  If you do not remember your username or password, Virtus offers a username and password recovery option.

If you work or volunteer at another AOD location and have an existing Virtus account, please log into your account, click on the “My Info” box, scroll down to “+Add Role and Location”, select your role at Guardian Angels and add Guardian Angels as a location.

The Criminal Background Check Disclosure and Authorization Form must be completed and signed in ink.  Please submit the original copy of the completed form to the school or parish office.

Our children are the most important gifts God has entrusted to us.  Staff and volunteers must login to your VIRTUS account and electronically sign the AOD code of conduct.

The Guardian Angels Catholic School Parent Code of Conduct details expectations for respectful behavior, safety, volunteering, and consequences for non-compliance which fosters a positive and faith-filled school environment.

Our goal is to empower children, youth and adults
to avoid and report unsafe or harmful situations.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

"The Mission of Guardian Angels Catholic School is to proclaim Jesus Christ through sacraments and prayer by teaching Christ-centered values while encouraging academic excellence and social justice within our Catholic community."
