Mr. Joel Lewis

Mr. Lewis received his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in 2017. After spending four years in the sales, advertising, and media industries, he strongly believes that God led him to the Guardian Angels family, where he was able to discover his true calling: becoming an educator. He is currently enrolled at Wayne State University, majoring in secondary education with a specialization in English, and plans to receive his Master's in Education by 2026.

Excited to start his fourth year teaching at GA in the Media Center, Mr. (Coach) Lewis is also a passionate volunteer with the Angels Athletics programs. This year, he will proudly be part of the coaching staff for the girls' varsity volleyball team, as well as the sixth-grade and varsity boys' basketball teams, and the GA track team.

Outside the halls and walls of GA, Mr. Lewis likes to play pickup basketball, go kayaking with friends, spend time with his dog Kingtavious, and sing karaoke wherever there's a microphone and an audience!
