Mrs. Rakhi McCormick

Mrs. McCormick has been working at Guardian Angels parish since 2019 and has been a parent at Guardian Angels Catholic School since 2014. Having grown up in California and Iowa, Mrs. McCormick found her way to Michigan after graduate school at Texas A&M to work at Oakland University. Following her time at OU, Mrs. McCormick also worked for the Archdiocese of Detroit in Campus and Young Adult Ministry, for Mary’s Mantle (a residential program for homeless, pregnant women), and in parish communications.

A convert from Hinduism during her undergraduate years at the University of Iowa, Mrs. McCormick has a heart for the "least of these" and finds great joy encouraging others to discover the love of Christ amid the beauty and gifts they possess. She is excited to be sharing this journey of faith with your students as they continue to grow in their knowledge of God, their relationship with Jesus, and their understanding of their own place in the body of Christ.

When not at Guardian Angels, Mrs. McCormick also dabbles in writing and art, enjoys reading, and hanging out at home with her husband and children.
