Mrs. Bays has been teaching at Guardian Angels since 2015. She previously taught adapted (special) physical education to the center based autism program at Seaholm High School in Birmingham. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and health education. She also received her master’s degree from WMU in adapted (special) physical education.
Mrs. Bays has loved playing a variety of sports her entire life. She was a college athlete at WMU and competed on the track and field team where she threw the shot put, discus and hammer. She now coaches the throwers on the track & field team at Seaholm High School in the spring. She loves being active, watching sports and spending time with her husband, Franklin and their daughters, Hailey and Chloe.
Mrs. Bays loves teaching at Guardian Angels and looks forward to keeping the students moving and active as well as teaching them the necessary skills to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.
